Child Safe Canada is very involved in the communities throughout Canada and wants you to know when we're on your local TV, radio station, or appearing in your city! Come on out and hear what's up and what you can do to be proactive and keep safe! Keep an eye out in your local paper for our regular features. Details: Child safe Canada is a proud supporter of the Salvation Army Children's Village; a safe place for children and families to learn skills and build strong and healthy relationships. Drop by the fall fair and view the outstanding resources that the village offers children and families alike (childrens-village.org).

Enjoy the wonderful fall fair activities; corn roast, games, prizes, more. Make sure to drop by the Child Safe Canada first-aid and face painting tent and say hello to our friendly staff.

Child Safe Canada is proud to be an Authorized provider for the Canadian Red Cross. In support of world first-aid day all first-aid course will be 2for1. That's right- bring a friend for free or train with your partner/spouse. Now is the time to set your priorities in order; stay safe and survive! Receive your first-aid and CPR training and enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing that you could provide first-aid in a life threatening emergency

Event: Bicycle Donations to kids-in-need
Date: July 24th, 2007

Details: Child Safe Canada staff identified a need within the community and stepped up to the plate! Child Safe Canada staff rebuilt bicycles for 26 high needs families and furnished them also with a new bicycle helmet to go with each one. The staff at Child Safe Canada put so much time and love into this project (Thank you ALL)

Child Safe Canada was heavily supported by the wonderful gentlemen at BP 'Wheels for kids’. The five amazing men fixed over a dozen bikes at the last minute to ensure that every child had a shiny new bike to ride for the summer. A special group of fellows! One final thanks to Darrel at BIRC-Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre for his gracious donation of 12 bicycle helmets to ensure the safety of the children.

To all of you that worked on this project - the children send a great big "Thank you!"

All children will receive a Child Safe Canada 'Lost Kids' tag courtesy of Child Safe Canada as they enter the Fair! Child Safe Canada will also be providing first-aid at the Lost Kids tent. Stop by, say "hello", pick up a colouring book, our latest course schedules and have a visit with our fun staff!
